It is important to treat pet urine properly and immediately as the odour can travel throughout the entire home and impact your health. The smell from previously soiled areas can also lead to repeat incidents in the same area until it is properly eliminated.
Pet urine begins to settle deep in the fibers of the carpet and contaminates both the carpet and the floor, and even the framework underneath. As it begins to dry, the urine crystals become more concentrated, which results in a more pungent smell. While most cleanings only mask the odour, P.U.R.T. works at the molecular level and destroys the urine crystals to fully eliminate all odours and stains.
How P.U.R.T. Works
P.U.R.T. is truly a one-of-a-kind product, which is unrivaled in the industry. While other pet removal products simply mask the smell, P.U.R.T. is specifically designed to attack urine crystals at the molecular level and destroy them from deep within the carpets and upholstery.
Our technician will first inspect the area with a special ultraviolet light to identify problem areas that are not visible to the naked eye. The carpet will then be sprayed using the Natural, an all-natural, Green-Certified product used in our Hot Carbonating Extraction cleaning process, to remove any liquid or loose urine crystals. Then, our technician will apply P.U.R.T. to all the affected areas, which travels deep into the carpet pad and even the sub-floor board, reaching areas that other cleaning products or processes cannot reach.
After P.U.R.T. has been applied, it continues to break down and destroy the urine over the next 24 to 36 hours. Once the areas have dried, the odour is gone for good and your carpets are clean again.
Tested and Proven Superior Results
An independent laboratory recently conducted multiple tests of our P.U.R.T. process to determine its effectiveness in eliminating pet urine odours and stains. In tests against dog and cat urine, the study found that P.U.R.T. removes an average of 99.9% of pet urine odours from carpets. When used with our Hot Carbonating Extraction process and a sanitizer, the study also concluded that P.U.R.T. removes an average of 99.2% of the bacteria from pet urine stains in carpets.
